The problem

A great product is not enough to enter Europe. You need a structure.

Most manufacturing SMEs have none of what the European market requires before the first order is even placed. We cover exactly that gap — without the company opening an office or hiring staff.

About us

From trading intermediary to European Business Accelerator.

We support the manufacturer from the first trade-fair meeting to a stable presence on the European market, with one operating structure and a digital platform that holds relationships, documents and orders together.

Who we work with

  • Chinese manufacturers with 50-300 employees
  • A mature product, already selling on the domestic market
  • Limited export, or concentrated in a few markets
  • No subsidiary and no agents in Europe

The structure

Behind European Market Gateway there is an Italian company that already exists.

European Market Gateway is the market-expansion initiative of FocusData Consulting. Tax, contractual and administrative work is handled by an Italian company with real clients, a real office and real legal responsibility: the contract you sign carries a verifiable entity.

Why trust us

Check for yourself, before you sign.

Every claim on this page can be verified against a public register, without asking us for anything. It is the least you should demand of anyone offering to represent you in Europe.

What we do not promise

Stating plainly where we stop convinces more than a list of capabilities.

  • We do not buy your stock: we sell your product, we do not take it off your hands
  • We do not guarantee sales volume: we guarantee the structure to generate it
  • We do not work with products that cannot legally be sold in the EU: we say so at the first analysis

Services

Four obstacles between your product and a European order.

You meet them in this order. We cover all four, with a single point of contact.

Presenting components to European buyers in a showroom

“Can my product be sold in the EU?”

CE marking, certifications, labelling, responsible person in the Union. Checked before you spend, not after the first customs hold.

EU compliance · Import & Export

“At what price, and against whom?”

Actual prices, competitors already present, channels, seasonality: real data on candidate markets before choosing where to enter.

Market knowledge · Marketing

“Who actually sells it?”

Agents and distributors selected by sector and area, contacted and managed by us. We run the negotiation in English, every day, with no hand-offs.

Sales network · Business development · Representation

“And how does it reach the customer?”

European warehouse, shipping and returns: your customer receives on European supplier timelines, not on those of an import from China.

FAQ

China-Europe: the questions we always get.

Are the European customers ours or yours?

It is the first thing we put in writing. The customer list is shared with you and the exit conditions are set in the contract, before any work starts.

Do we need to set up a company in Europe?

No. For many product categories the EU requires a responsible economic operator established in the Union: we can take that role. If volumes later justify a subsidiary, we assess it together.

Who handles CE marking?

We coordinate laboratory testing, the technical file and the declaration of conformity with accredited bodies. Conformity remains the manufacturer's responsibility: our job is making sure the documentation is complete and correct before the goods ship.

How do customs and VAT work?

Entering the EU requires an EORI number, a customs declaration, duty and import VAT. We handle the paperwork and tell you upfront which incoterm makes sense, because it changes who pays and who is liable.

Where are the goods stored?

In a warehouse in Europe: the European customer receives in days from a local supplier, not in weeks from overseas. Storage, shipping and returns are on us.

What language do we work in?

English, every day, with the same person. Website, presentations and sales materials are also available in Chinese. We do not have a native Mandarin speaker on the team: we say so upfront, because it is better known now than discovered later.

How long until the first order?

It depends on compliance, sector and price. The Readiness Check gives you an estimate on your actual products, not a generic promise.

Contact

Let's start with an assessment.

Tell us about your product and your target market. We reply within two working days with a first potential analysis.

What the EU Market Readiness Check covers

  • Product compliance: CE marking, certifications, labelling
  • Price positioning against European competitors
  • Sales channels and the countries to start from
  • Customs and VAT requirements for your commodity code
  • First operational steps, with timing and responsibilities

The Check is carried out once a collaboration agreement is signed: it is analysis work on your actual products, not an automated quote.

We reply to your request within two working days.

Data is processed under the GDPR and used solely to assess your request.
